Leto wasn't thrilled when I shifted back into control. He had spent the better part of two days redirecting Kai back to Timber, and now that we were finally home he didn’t trust that Kai wouldn’t just take off again.
I’m surprised he got him to come back at all, but the promise of more wolves, our best tracker, and the safety of our sisters is all that coaxed him here. I can’t say I would do any differently, he was desperate for the scent of his mate, and the rejection… the rejection.

MARIE This worked for my mom, it should work for me... right? Who am I kidding, I’ve been in Eclipse for almost a month and haven’t made any progress.
