It took us two long days, but we were finally about to arrive at Sun Shade. I’d gotten a message from my father letting me know they had arrived not long after the kings. While our prisoners gave them no trouble, the concern that they would, was always present. With the kings leading the way, Marcus shouldn’t dare, but he’s proven one too many times how lacking in common sense he was.
He knew their reputation, but I would bet on him making his concerns more heard once we arrived with other Alphas in attendance. The kings would temper their responses because of their instincts to protect their image and their heirs, which would give Marcus the floor to vocalize all the ways he’s been wronged.

MYLO “You want an heir,” Dahlia’s voice had a certain numbness to it that I wasn’t used to. I thought she wanted a family right away, and when Kai was being vocal about sensing her strong fertility I didn’t give a second thought to it. “I want a family,” I confirmed, grasping her hands back in mine, lifting them and planting a kiss on her knuckles. “We can wait if you want to-” “But you want a son.” She was waiting on a response, but her statement was something I hadn’t given much thought to. MYLO When Marie and Terran arrived they were escorted to an accommodation close to us to get settled in. Dahlia was pacing back and forth as I fed Nora. Anxious, like myself, to get the next few days over with, but it shouldn’t be long before Alderic is back to get ready for supper.
