Kallan's POV
I hadn’t slept much, but I didn’t mind, Sabre paced all night wanting me to wake this little mate of mine from her sleep for all kinds of reasons, but I wanted to get her back home first. Octavia's POVI woke up in the morning afraid to move or breathe too heavily, but I couldn't smell Kallan's scent. As I slowly opened my eyes and sat up, I discovered I was alone, I guess Kallan hadn't slept here overnight which stirred an odd feeling of sadness in me, but I pulled myself up and together for the day.
