His doctor decided to keep him there for a few more days. Not that Scott was in any hurry to leave the hospital anyway. When he was alone he would end up thinking about what to do when the inevitable happened, and when he was not alone, which he usually was not, his friends were there with him, keeping him company, bringing him flowers or delicious Madora-made food, or read to him. They kept him sane by being there.
