Chapter 39 Don't Blame Me For Being Harsh

"What's wrong?" A strong sense of unease washed over Jenny. Her heartbeat quickened.

"Something's happened to that boy from this afternoon." Morgan was anxious. "After you left, his mother insisted on switching hospitals. We had no choice but to agree. We thought it was just a mild concussion, so it wouldn't matter if they went to another hospital. But then the emergency center received a call saying that there was a patient in a private hospital with massive head bleeding. We asked about the patient and learned that it was the boy. His mother brought him to a private hospital for surgery!"

Jenny's expression shifted. She asked hurriedly, "Where is he?"

"He's still on the way here. The paramedics in the ambulance say it's really serious and that we must be prepared. I'm here to get you," Morgan said.
