Chapter Four: The run!
Azhea was screaming non-stop, moaning, and begging for her freedom.
"Please, just let me go!" she said and the other werewolf didn't even dare to listen to hear irritating cries, and just kept ignoring her.
No matter how much she struggled not to let them pull her, she has no strength to resist them.
"Let me go!" she shouted again and when they had finally reached where they wanted to put her, Azhea couldn't believe her eyes, she could see bones of some creatures that were spread on the ground, flies that were floating everywhere, and some chains that were connected to the dirt.
She swallowed, and her voice was stuck in the middle of her lungs, she was breathing heavily and looked at them, "A-are they hu-humans' bones?" she asked and the other werewolf smirked.
"Yes, they are, so if you don't want to turn just like them, I suggest you to behave. And stop shouting nor crying, that won't help you," he lied, it was actaully wild animals who were sentence in death by killing their own kind. However, his voice was frightening that she tried to be brave and stopped crying. But then, the more they went closer to it, Azhea couldn't withstand the smell of rotten flesh! She vomited and the werewolves who were holding her felt disgusted.
"Gross, human!" the other one said, and pulled her.
"What are you doing?" she asked when she saw him unlocking the other chain that was attached to the ground, near the bones.
She widened her eyes, she knew they were going to lock her up, she then begged to them again not to do what they were planning to do.
"I told you to just behave!" His voice was sound deep and serious. Out of irritation, he didn't care if he hurt her, he grabbed her from her hands, and chained her left arm instantly.
The place where they put her was behind the cave and it couldn't be seen easily, because lots of small and big plants were also around it.
"Just let me go. Why are you doing this to me?!" she yelled at them.
"Grrr. Annoying humans!" said the other one.
"I'm with you! Let's go back!" His friend answered and left Azhea alone.
Azhea was too scared of what they would do next to her. She kept imagining things and trembling.
"What if they eat my body and distribute it with those scary werewolves?" she thought and couldn't get away to escape. She held the chain and tried to unlock it, but it was impossible. It was too solid and hardly locked.
But then she kept trying to destroy the chain until she slowly losing her hope to escape. She couldn't destroy it with her bare hands and strength! But when she saw a stone near her. She thought that it would be useful.
She looked around and heard a howl and groaned. She moved and tried to peek at what was happening, and she saw Choven and Zhukre fighting, it wasn't clear enough to her to see them because of the leaves that were blocking the view. She then took that chance to get the stone.
"Urgh! No! Please! Come' on!" She groaned while she was trying to reach the stone. She couldn't reach it, so she used her feet and when she got the stone, she made sure that no one was around and no one could notice her escaping.
She put all of her strength that left in her physical and whacked the chain until it was totally destroyed. The moment that it was broken, she peeked again, and lucky her, the night for the two friends was heated up in an argument and they were still fighting! And the pack was busy watching them.
Azhea stood up carefully, no sound could be heard. She tried to be brave but she was still scared to be caught! She didn't make a sound, she walked slowly and slowly and kept staring at them, and when she got the chance to escape, she ran into the dark forest.
How many minutes had passed since she escaped, "Where am I now?" she whispered to herself and tried to look where she could run! She couldn't remember the paths they walked ahead of before. But she was determined to find a way to their automobile.
Instead of getting panicked, Azhea loosened up herself and became cautious about where she would go.
"Who is there?" she whispered when she heard something from somewhere.
"Gosh," she groaned as she looked up to a tree... "You scared the soul inside of me," she muttered when she noticed that it was only the hotting sound of an owl from above the trees.
She continued to walk away, and when she was near the road where they parked the car, she felt relieved and happy.
"Thank you, Lord," she sighed and walked faster towards the car.
Blag! Blag! Blag!
"Damn it! Damn it!"
She kicked the car when she couldn't open it. Well, it was because it was locked inside, but then she called herself dumb when she realized that her friend, the owner of the car, made her held the key when they arrived earlier.
"You're such an idiot, Azhea, how come you forgot!"
She got the key in her pant's pocket but then she got startled when she heard something was near him and was uttering a deep guttural sound of anger. She accidentally fell her keys on the ground but when she attempted to pick them up the sound became louder and frightening.
She didn't attempt to move and slowly turned her head, and every part of her began frozen when she saw a wolf growling near her, its eyes were white, and has sharp teeth. It was glaring madly at her and she could feel that anytime that she attempted to move, it would definitely attack her without a second thought.
She didn't know if she would try to pick up the key or go inside the car immediately before it could bite her, but she knew it wasn't a good idea! But she has no choice but to pick up the key and go inside as quickly as she could.
She bent down her knees and hurriedly picked it up, but then the wolf was faster than her and sabotaged her.
Azhea fell on the ground and the wolf was on top of her, ready to eat her. "No!" She kept trying to push the wolf's head in full force, but she knew she would be eaten alive, she doesn't have the probability to win against it.
Then, when she glanced at her right, she saw Choven on his animal form, staring at them, watching her, to be digested by the ravenous wolf.
Chapter five: Back to the Pack!"You can't go away. Naughty human!" Choven mumbled and growled when he finally saw Azhea, but she was near the car and he won't let her go away."You would taste great punishment for running away!" he muttered, and he was going to pull her but he stopped when he saw something behind her. When he looked at it clearly, he noticed that it was not their kind; it was not a werewolf but a natural wolf! It was glaring at her. And then it attacked before she could escape. He didn't do anything and just watched her struggling hard enough to protect herself."You saw her?" asked Zhukre when he saw him, but he didn't respond to him."Choven did you s..." he paused when he noticed that Choven was seriously looking at a distance, then when he followed Choven's eyes direction, he saw what was happening and he wondered why he was letting the wolf at
Chapter Six: What we learned from humans!Everyone was readying and Azhea woke up with the noise of the pack, everyone was excited and hurrying, they were all fixing themselves...Azhea sat up and found herself in a thick brown blanket. Her hands had a bandage and she was on a pallet bed. Wondering why a werewolf has stuff like that."Where am I?" She thought...Choven wrapped her in a blanket while she was sleeping last night, she was trembling in cold and Choven was giggling on the corner as he watched her struggling and slept hardly even if it was cold."Why did you really save her?" Old Khram asked Choven. He then turned around and sighed."I don't know. I felt something about her when I saw her earlier being chased by Kzhen, and it just happened! I saved her without thinking about the aftermath! I'm sorry for making the pack worried and panicked. I was wrong!"
Chapter Seven: Humans in our territory."Why do you have to protect yourself from humans? When you could stay in the city and live like normal humans?" Azhea wasn't sure why she came out of that question, but Choven found it pretty interesting, no one had ever asked them nor suggest to live with humans before. He then chuckled, "because we can not change the fact that we are not normal humans," he answered, and as Azhea stared at his chuckling face, she was more aware that he was serious even if he was chuckling."But you can, just don't form into a wolf and think of yourselves as normal as we are," She said. She examined his reactions but the weather became intense. Choven cracked his knuckles and took a deep breath. Azhea could feel the fiery man beside her that made her felt nervous. She couldn't understand why he switched mood so suddenly. He fiercely looked at her, "Who cares about living with humans?!"&
Chapter Eight: Your Father is DeadThe pack was waiting for the group to come back while the packs from the city didn't know what was happening in the forest of Mizuki.Menriszz hurried toward Zhukre the minute they came."You okay? Your face is bleeding," she said as she hunched down to her wolf boyfriend and noticed Choven's face has the same situation."It's Benj' and Alken' blood," explained Zhukre as Menriszz wrapped him in clothes before he turned into a human."Blood from Benj and Alken? Where is my son Benj? What happened?" cried Benj's mother, Tiquilla. Choven pointed Alken and Benj that were guided by the other pack and Ms. Tiquilla hurried to see her bleeding son. While Choven went inside the other cave and changed his clothes and came back where they're at."What happened?" She asked, worriedly."Long story, mom," Benj answered.Azhea was
Chapter Nine: AwkwardnessAzhea was all cleaned, she didn't know how to tell the female werewolves that she was done. The robes were on their hands."Gosh, this is awkward, how could I approached them," she whispered staring at them, she sighed and felt like she needed to get used to it. She almost shouted to get their attention. But then, Old Khram suddenly appeared near her."You're done?" Old Khram smiled and she looked at her."Oh, yes, I am," she answered."Here, wrapped yourself," Old Khram said, she gave her a robe and Azhea immediately get it from her."Thank you, ma'am," she said.Old Khram smiled at the way she called her."Please, drop the mom," she said. "Oh, yes, I will, thank you for this," she answered and stood up."You're finished? You have just called us," said the female werewolves when they passed through them.
Chapter Ten: Werewolf is smart more than you imagineWhile Azhea was sitting with old Khram, Choven came and old Khram noticed him even if he was not that near them, they had a quite impressive hearing and eyesight.Old Khram smiled and stood up, she knew that Choven wanted an alone moment with her."You are truly growing, young man," she whispered to him."What do you mean?" he asked."I mean you've grown up too fast," she giggled. He doubted her thoughts and said, "There is another subtext behind your words, Old Khram, am I correct?""Haha! Never mind, just go and talk to her," she winked at him and kept walking forward. He then ignored Old Khram and looked at the mortal, he sighed, stood up straight as a real man, he even fixed his hair, and then slowly went near her with his tickling heart."Hey, I brought you some food," he said and Azhea got sur
Chapter 11: The EscapedWhen Choven left Azhea in his cave room, he accidentally dropped the key on the floor without noticing it.Azhea's eyes looked at him with wide eyes full of nervousness. She put her contact away at the key before he could notice it. Her palms were getting wet, and she held her feet to stop her from trembling. She acted cool as long as she can, and lucky her, Choven didn't saw the key. When Choven walked out of the cave, Azhea was staring at him until he was no longer to be seen. She made sure he was not outside. The moment she heard his footsteps walking away from the place, she immediately used her feet' fingers, wrapped the key around it, and kept hold of the key, she lifted it high and grabbed it immediately. She hid the key on the blanket."Thanks, God!" She breathed in and out, her eyes were flickering by the thought of running away. While Choven was still outside and when
Chapter 12: Deafening SilenceMany days had passed and Azhea was still silent. But it made Choven not to worry about her escaping because what happened made her stay. He didn't have to watch her when he noticed that she doesn't even want to go back home and Zhukre told him what happened when he found her."You sure, you want that human here?" Zhukre asked him as they watched her sitting alone quietly."Zhukre, you know the answer," Choven said."Well, that's means yes. But what happened back there a few days ago, I guess we can trust her now," Zhukre said.Choven faced him, " What exactly do you mean?" he asked."Well, she won't tell anybody about our kind, I can feel it. Maybe it's time for her to go home, Choven. We can't keep her, she is weak, we cannot always protect her and when Kzhen's pack knows about this, they will surely doubt how she ended up staying here, with us," Zhukre was convincing Cho
