CHAPTER 25
As the night went on, the storm slowly subsided. The winds calmed down and the heavy pour was turned into barely a drizzle. This calming nature helped the boys sleep well throughout the night without feeling a tiny bit restless. Even Singto, who usually finds it difficult to fall asleep, didn’t have trouble drifting off.

It took roughly half an hour for the food to arrive, which was perfect since it was noon by the time they got there. During the wait, Krist decided to wash his face and make himself somewhat presentable. And as Krist begin to carry all of it to the dining room table, Singto wanted to run away. So much calories and unknown substances were lurking around and all he could smell was fat fumes clouding up his senses. “Oh my god! This is embarrassing, but last night I dreamt about pizza because I wanted it so badly. Isn’t that sad?”

Finally, after what seemed like centuries, Singto allowed the food to enter his mouth. Immediately, he covered his full mouth with his knuckles and breathed deeply. This was painful for Krist to watch, since he no knows he must do struggle with this all on his own for a very long time. That thought alone made him tighten his grip onto Singto’s free hand. After a while of chewing the food slowly, he managed to swallow it and exhaled another breath of air.
