After a while, Sarah decided to go upstairs and slump on the bed. Trying hard to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall, she heard Anne and Sean chatting downstairs. So they were back, she sighed a relief, at least she was not alone anymore although the loneliness in her chest seemed to press on her even more.

Soon after, a sudden silence filled the house. Trying to harken what was going on, the next instant, the door of the room flew open, presenting a restless and breathless Devlin. Sarah immediately sprouted on her feet. She gasped as she looked at him. Her heart started to palpitate alarmingly.

One hour earlier, Devlin received a message from Jordan, asking him to meet up urgently. The last time they met was two weeks back , on the first day of Sarah's training. That day, the two friends parted on not a very good term. Devlin was very furious at Jordan as he was wrong, very wrong about Sarah.
