Don't Hurt Her

Noah's car pulled up in front of Valeria's apartment.

He got out and went to her doorstep, then he knocked on the door.

He waited a while before someone came to answer it.

The door opened, revealing Shantel.

"Noah? You?" She called in surprise.

"Yes Shantel, good morning, you seem surprised to see me here. What happened?" Noah questioned with a smile.

"I mean, I wasn't expecting you to be here this early," she said.

"Oh, well, here I am."

Shantel looked inside to be sure no one was there yet. Valeria was upstairs with Fred and she needed to talk to Noah quickly, but she wouldn't want Valeria to hear it.

She went out and shut the door, all to the surprise of Noah.

She folded her hands to her chest and looked at Noah with a straight face.

Noah cleared his throat nervously, he didn't understand her sudden change of behavior and the look on her face told him that she was about to say something serious.

"What's wrong, Shantel? Why are you looking at me like that? Did I do something wrong?
