We followed Edward through the labyrinthine corridors of his mansion, our steps echoing in the silence, we arrived at a forgotten corner—a room concealed behind a grand oak door. The air within was heavy with the scent of aged parchment and forgotten knowledge.

"This," Edward murmured, his voice hushed and reverent, "is where the secrets of our kind are buried—the hidden stories that hold the key to our past."

My eyes widened as I beheld row upon row of towering bookshelves, their shelves groaning under the weight of countless times. It was a treasure trove of forgotten tales, waiting to be discovered.

Edward's fingers brushed against the spines of the books, searching for a particular volume. His touch was gentle, almost reverential, as though he understood the power held within these ancient pages.

I exchange worried looks with Jayden. What did this have to do with us?
