Chapter 22 - Brother and Sister

I don’t know how long I was out.

All I knew was the pain I felt the whole time.

The healer had done several things in my body that I don’t even know what. All I can remember was the pain and how I passed out several times only to wake up to more pain.

But weirdly enough, after everything that the old woman did to me, I am no longer feeling any pain.

Well, maybe there’s a little but not as painful as it was before.

“You’re awake!” Fiona said excitedly the moment that I met her brown eyes.

I tried to sit up and she immediately ran to my side to help me up.

“How long was I out?” I asked her hoarsely as she gave me a glass of water.

“A day and a half,” Fiona replied smiling.

I stopped drinking and faced her wide-eyed.

“That long?” I asked in surprise. I was expecting that it was just overnight not expecting that a whole day and a half had already passed.

“You actually woke up faster than I anticipated,” Fiona replied, “Let me get you some food, you might be starving.”
