Chapter 55: Hunger Strike

Days had passed and she never heard anything from Nick, Lora, and even Fred. No one ever showed up to visit her, she wasn’t expecting them to be but she was still hurt that no one showed up even though she knew she will make them leave. Ironic, yes.

Lately, she secretly throws her food and eats nothing, she would take a bite but didn’t eat enough for her stomach. She didn’t feel like eating anything like she was full but not.

Looking at the inmate with her, they act like they were just in their houses. Doing chores and doing things to entertain them, there would be a little argument sometimes but mild.

She stared at the window on her side, ‘It doesn’t feel new, I used to live like this. As if this scared me.’ It’s not that she didn’t get what was happening. She knew that someone was trying to make her suffer. But suffering wasn’t new to her, it was not that she couldn’t fight back, she was tired of fighting back anymore when she had nothing
