Xander sat deep in thoughts in his office, tomorrow was the dinner between his family and the Garcia's, and he couldn't lie, anytime he thought about the mere thought, he felt sick in his stomach and a dark cloud of dread over his head, He could clear hear his Dad's voice in his head and he could remember the day he was told he would be engaged."Dad, you called me?" Xander said, as he stood at the entrance of his Father's study, the doors were made of huge dark mahogany wood with some ancient carvings on it, the whole house itself was two century years old owned by his great great great great grandpa Miller. He built the house of smart taxes and IFF rates then according to his grandfather, the house was passed down the line from son to son, even though they still had several mansions in several cities and countries, this was the most visited one. He didn't bond well with his father while growing up due to his father always running the business and sometimes his mother would tag alo
"You are a genius babe," Xander whispered against Alice's lips, smiling. That was the perfect plan. Typically, there is the unsaid law every elite knows. Once there is a fundraiser, every other plan has to be canceled and business Moguls have to be in attendance even though it is on very short notice. Rich people are weird, I know.Readjusting his shirt and tucking in the loose part that got out while making out, he left the front of the desk where he had placed Alice while making out, he went to sit on his off-white leather seat office chair. He decided to make a quick call to his mother to spread the word and start the planning, even though it was on short notice. He knew that was not going to be her focus, the mere thoughts of her planning the fundraiser will take her mind off it."No babe, we were in the middle of something," Alice whined, turning around to look at him on his seat with pouty red lips hoping to make him come back and finish what he started, she was just getting i
Rachel, Amy, Ricky and Yandel exited the bowling alley which led to the parking lot, it was thirty five minutes past five and the twins were not yet back from the ice cream shop they claimed was just a ten minutes drive from here."Are you sure your siblings didn't kidnap my brother?" Rachel asked, getting worried as she looked at the time again and looked into the parking lot, Yandel's car was still absent from the space it initially occupied and people had already started to leave the arcade as the drive back into the city was another fifteen minutes journey, making the total journey almost a thirty minute plus journey for her.The sun was already setting, casting a dark orange tint on the car roofs in the parking lot.Would Araceli take a satisfying selfie out here or was she expected to?Rachel battled with herself internally, she was yet to check her instagram again even though she wasn't in charge of it."Why are you so worried? By the way, the twins look wild but I'm sure they
Ace came down from the car still actively talking to Ethan as they came down from the car after him, Emily just kept laughing and giggling as they inched towards them, they held white plastic bags in their hands as they met up with them."Ricky and Amy aren't coming over?" Ethan asked as he saw their ride zoom off."Oh no, one has to see his needful boyfriend and the other has to work night shifts," Rachel clarified to both of them."Yandel, did you ask her please?" Ace asked, pulling at Yandel's shirt."Yeah, but she hasn't actually said yes or no," Yandel replied, before turning to meet Araceli who's lost look gave away her lack of knowledge on the subject at hand."Ask me what?" Rachel asked, confused as Yandel made the expression "unbelievable" before slapping his hands to his forehead."So the rumors are true huh, You really do have fish brains ," Yandel sassed, chuckling."No I don't, what are you even saying?" Rachel asked, even more confused."I asked you if Ace can stay over
"Maya…" She pointed straight ahead."Argh!!" Yandel screamed. The headlights of the Rachel's car casted its highlights on her, highlighting her cheek bones and red lipstick giving her a look like maleficent. Her hair was held back in a tight pony which helped to highlight her facial features even more."Why does she look like Maleficent when we just crossed her territory," Rachel whispered to Yandel."She looks fucking scary," Yandel said, locking his side of the door."No shit, get down you fucking pussy, she's your childhood friend," Rachel countered, unlocking the door back.Yandel slowly came down from the car, looking at a scary looking Maya, she was wearing black jeans with high boots and a red flannel crop shirt, to think that she is mostly sweet and nice most of the time didn't come to mind. Ever since Emily and Araceli told him about the possibilities of Maya being in love with him which he still found ridiculous of course, he didn't think things will be that weird between t
"Bastard…" Rachel muttered under her breath before sticking her phone back into her pocket, she looked up to see Yandel standing at the post of the passage way into the dining area."Jesus!" Rachel yelped, holding to her chest a bit as her heart raced erratically."We don't even look alike Celi," Yandel chuckled, making her roll her eyes."How long have you been standing there?" Rachel asked him, feeling a little uncomfortable, she could have been thinking out loud and he had heard her."Not long enough to be considered weird or freaky but long enough to here the most pissed off bastard I have ever heard," Yandel said, smiling sweetly at her while maintaining insane eye contact which made her stomach turn a little, no not really nausea but the kind of butterflies she has been avoiding."You can thank Xander for that, he definitely made that move intentionally, only God knows what else that evil bastard has planned," Rachel muttered under her breath."Have I mentioned you have the cut
You know the saying that goes, "no place like home." Well whoever came up with thst must have gone spent an awful lot of time away from their beds to realize this truth, she couldn't even deny it, her bed and pillow is everything to her not that the bed here wasn't comfortable, it was. In fact, it was a full queen sized bed and it had six pillows and a beautiful bed frame but it was not her bed so she only slept for like three hours and spent the rest tossing around trying to find a comfortable spot to place her head without stressing, feeling uncomfortable or hot.She even did some cardio during the night and tried some yoga to clear her state of mind and bring her peace but sleeping in Yandel's home was already enough trouble for her. She was put in the room next to Ace so she could check on him whenever she needed to during the night and she did check on him but somehow unlike her, he managed to make most of his night sleeping and snoring after such a long day of well deserved fun
"Good morning, Araceli," Emily greeted cheerfully, smiling brightly at Rachel who just gave a tight lip smile and ruffled Ethan's hair who was mindlessly wolfing down pancakes."How was your night?" Araceli asked, going to kiss Ace on the head."It was good, I can't say the same about yours though," Emily said, looking at Araceli carefully. She could see red marks around her eyes and her face was a little bit swollen."Rough night?" Emily asked."Don't we all," Rachel joked casually, sighing for what seemed like quadrillion time over the past six hours, she started to feel the stress and weight of a bad night on her eyelids. She really needed a vacation after all of this dramatic saga was over."Blueberries or chocolate chip pancakes?" Emily asked."Can I have both?" Araceli asked politely, pleading with her eyes, She knew Emily was a smart girl and she understood things are not right with her. So she served her both and gave her a peck on the head."I heard Yandel yelling, what was t
