The loud thud of the eerily silent office brought disturbance to the calm infernal green flame that was the only source of light in the darkened room. The heaving intruder stammered as his small wrinkled fingers seek the support of his trembling knees. “Y-Yo-Your Grace! We have a problem with the lady!” A pair of fist-sized eyes glistened upon staring at the silhouette that was standing near the fireplace.
Upon the mention of the young lady, the unbothered look of the man changed into one hundred eighty degrees in a matter of split-second. “What happened?” A sinister pair of glowing emerald orbs looked down at the sweating goblin that seemingly stopped breathing upon meeting the eyes of his master—the demon lord that controlled the darkness of the three worlds.
