Chapter 35 - Meet the Kidnapper

Her head pounded so hard Iris had to wince and close her eyes again to lessen the pain. It took her several minutes to refocus and get in touch with what was happening to her.

“Sir, she is awake,” she heard a voice from a distance.

“Bring her in,” a hoarse, gritted voice replied, and in a minute, she was yanked from the soft cushion where she was laid. Her throbbing pain intensified when these men forcefully pulled her.

“Hey!” But her mouth was closed by rough fabric and cutting off her voice.

Iris’ body aches everywhere. Her shoulders, her hips, and every joint in her body hurt. Her eyes also blared, but she tried to focus and looked carefully at who dared to kidnap her.

And now she had a clear look at who the culprit was.
