He woke up first before Iris. It was understandable because his fiancee was totally out since last night’s bachelorette party, courtesy of his meddlesome but wholesome assistant–Sheila.

Alex couldn’t get tired of seeing Iris peacefully sleep beside him in his bed. Knowing she was safe and sound under his protection was a satisfying feeling.

He kissed her once again before he went out of bed and started his day.

Iris only frowned in her sleep but did not wake up when he kissed her forehead. Alex chuckled when he saw that. His woman was really cute.

He took a quick shower and put the coffee machine on work. While he was waiting for the coffee, he opened his iPad and checked emails for work-related and also from Sebastian regarding the progress of their investigations.
