Chapter 76 - A Small Victory

“I just finished your tasks. Can we talk now?” Brandon took a discreet peek at Iris, letting Alex know he needed privacy to discuss this matter.

But Alex did not care. Iris needed to stay here, and it did not matter if she heard what they were talking about, even if it was about secret information.

“Alright, sure. Let’s get through it,” Alex loosened his hold of Iris but still ensured she was not going anywhere. Brandon stood still, and Alex only challenged him by raising his left eyebrow at his assistant.

“If that’s what you wish,” Brandon finally caught his meaning, Iris was not going anywhere, and she would surely hear at what length he would go to bury his father and expose the crime his father had committed years ago.

Brandon sat on the sofa, and Alex took Iris' hand before they sat together and started to hear what Brandon would report to him.

"I already met them all. Your father's staunch supporters," Brandon started his report.
