Hard to Say Goodbye

Brandon POV

We left Jax and Riley to pack and drove in silence. Barry's house was only ten minutes away, but it felt like hours passed. I didn't want him to leave, but I knew he had too. His love for his sisters was more than anything he felt for me. I hated it, but also loved him more for it. He would always protect his family.

We filled his family in on some of the details and his parents agreed it was best to leave. Katie and Cassie didn't need to come, even Brandon didn't, but the siblings always stuck together. They spent their whole life shielding Sophia and wouldn't stop now.

"I should head out so I'm not gone too long. I'll see you in the woods in a few hours." I said sadly as he began packing a bag in his room. I wanted to spend as much time with Barry as I could before I wouldn't see him for possibly months.
