Turning around on my feet, I made a dash outside the room, unintentionally pushing Lara aside and making her fall in Daniel’s arms while I was running. I rushed down the stairs, out of the corridor, and flung open the door, running toward Alessio right under my bedroom window. How the fuck had he even managed to climb up one floor without any support or ladders?!

“Are you okay?” I asked worriedly, bending forward to touch his arm.
