“What?” My eyes widened in shock. I don’t think I had ever felt this way ever before. Like someone had snatched my life out of my chest and thrown it into the oblivion, “say that again?”

Her teeth clenched tight. She was struggling to get the words out of her mouth but she still spat out, “Break this mate bond.”

My feet took charge before my mind fully registered her words. I marched up to her, my hand shot out and grabbed the back of her head to snatch her toward me and then grab her jaw with my other hand in a firm grip to pull her face closer until there was no space between us.
