Chapter 18 COLD SHIVERS

"How is she?"

Anton asked as soon as the doctor stormed out of his guest room.

"Her vitals are normal but she seemed to be suffering from emotional distress, Mr. Stanford." The doctor responded in a professional manner.

Though he might've already known the reason as to why she fainted, he still asked.

"Emotional distress?"

The doctor pushed his glasses higher on the bridge of his nose before he answered.

"I'm not sure, Mr. Stanford. I'm afraid I can't tell you the exact reason but I can refer someone if you like. That person might be the one to tell you the right answers you need to hear."

Saying so, he took something from his bag and handed it over to him. "You can set an appointment with him."

Anton stared at the calling card in his hand as soon as the doctor left.
