Chapter 25 ASSISTANT FOR A MONTH
Athena went silent for a while trying to digest her husband's words. She massaged her temples repeatedly feeling a sudden surge of headache hitting her brain cells. How the heck would she be able to get her intentions hidden when her husband was trying to add some salt on her wound by threatening her? He clearly is making things difficult for her! He wants her to get furious and explode, isn't he?
"Say something, Mrs. Adams…" the man urged as he chuckled while observing her contorting facial expressions. He seemed amused at her reaction that he couldn't help teasing her.
"How on earth… did you come up with such an idea?" Athena took a deep breath to calm her raging nerves down. She would probably kick his ass hard if he couldn't give her a good explanation for her questions.
