Chapter 79 SENDING PRESENTS

Zenith happened to hear her assistant mumbling inaudible words under her breath thus she asked to clarify it but Ashley shook her head in panic.

"Oh, I didn't say anything, Miss." She defended herself hurriedly and instead she looked out the window, diverting the latter's attention and said, "we're here!"

Zenith sensed something unusual in Ashley's behavior but she kept it to herself for the meantime as she believes that sooner, she will eventually spit whatever she was hiding from her.

Though she wasn't that really familiar with her assistant's character as they haven't been with each other for so long, she believes that her godfather won't give her someone who doesn't fit her personality. He believes that they could work out everything together and they would succeed in the end so why would she doubt her?
