Chapter 38: Porridge

I came back to my room slowly thinking about my life. I am feeling bad about this cold as I am starting to sniff.

I walk fastly as I can so I can rest. I became breathless when I reach my room. I open the door as I quickly lie on my bed. I pulled the blanket to cover my body. I close my eyes and I dont know when did I sleep.

I opened my eyes as I heard a knock on my door. I triend to sit down but all over my body is aching. The door opened and it was Miss Penelope, she was holding a tray of foods as usual and when she got to see my state her facial expression change into a worried one.

“Calliope”, she called my name before putting the tray of food on the the top of the table.

She holds my forehead and neck as she looks at me anxiously, “You are sick, Calliope. I will go get some medicine for you, wait for me okay?”, she said and I nodded in return. She came out of the room and I lay on my bed again trying to close my eyes as I was dizzy.
