Cole's POV

Bennet just looked at me evilly then he took the spoon from my hand again and ate it himself. He ignored me.

After a time, Bennet's nephew, Lukas, suddenly approached him and held out his hand. "Care for a dance, Aunt Nicky?" he asked smiling.

After all, I finished eating, I agreed but first I looked at Bennet. "Dancing, husband. Is it okay?"

"Go on..." he said simply without looking back. He just answered the caller on his cell phone.

I just shrugged my shoulders and then I held Lukas's hand as he led me to the middle of the dance floor. We danced the waltz and I didn't know how to do it so naturally, I stepped on his foot.

"Sorry," I said.

Lukas just smiled. This man should share at least a little smile with his uncle, without Bennet always looking like an eater. "It's okay, Aunt Nicky. Although, I find it strange... the Nicky I know... is a good dancer."

Oh, shoot! Yes, it is. Nicky is a social dance champion, the Waltz is just nuts for her! Geezus freckles!
