Chapter 9. New Employee

Suddenly Shada's world spun. She didn't hear it wrong, did she? So, Max was in front of the house last night? Stupid why didn't she realize it?! Shada cursed to herself.

Shada bit her lip. She didn't know what to answer. At this moment, she was getting nervous seeing Max who was already bright red. Shada opened her mouth to speak when a woman walked into the room.

"Good morning. Sorry, I'm a new employee here. Please help." The new employee greeted, causing Ruth to take a quick glance, then immediately look away and turn her gaze back to her desk. Unlike most people in the room, almost everyone was paying attention to her.

The woman flashed a sweet smile. Her body was as tall as a model used to strutting on the red carpet. She had brown eyes and exotic skin. She had long peanut brown waves of hair.
