Chapter 107 - Excuses

"Lexi? The food's ready."

I immediately opened my eyes after Mitch softly woke me up. I accidentally fell asleep on the couch. "I-I'm sorry for falling asleep like that." Mitch ruffled my hair while chuckling. They had already finished cooking, and I didn't even help them. Royce brought the food to the living room, and it looked like we were having a feast. Isn't this too early for the Christmas celebration? 

"Do you want more pasta?" Mitch asked, treating me as if I were his child. "What about you, idiot?" He turned to Royce. He's calling Royce an idiot, even though he was blushing before just by the mention of Royce's name. 

Royce didn't mind; he looked calm now, unlike when he first met Mitch. Remember that time when he would always do nothing but glare at Mitch? He even teased him so much for being a ball boy, but now he would always go with Mitch's every whim.
