Chapter 97 - The Most Precious Person

    Mitch's POV 

I kept humming as Royce, and I walked on the path towards my apartment. This was such a great day, and Lexi apologized to me. He's such a cutie; he even cried. So precious! I want to keep him all to myself. 

"You seem like you're in a good mood now." I heard Royce say as we walked side by side. I don't understand why he keeps accommodating me until my apartment, though. It's not like I'm a girl that needed some guidance. "Did you two make up?"

I nodded with a huge grin. "Of course. Lexi's my only best friend after all, and I'm his only best friend."

Royce raised an eyebrow. "Doesn't look like that to me. There's Joey too."

My smile widened after hearing Royce mention that. "Joey? Oh, he already knows his place." 

"Why do I feel like you did something wrong to that poor guy?"
