Later that evening, all our pack members made our way downstairs to attend the Alpha and Luna’s dinner together. Before dinner was ready to be served, Alpha Rossi had gathered the guests into one of his large entertainment rooms so that his visitors could mingle and catch up with acquaintances they hadn’t seen in a while.
Doyle, Sean and the girls and I were making our way through the crowd, mingling with the other Alphas and Lunas and Beta’s that Sean and Doyle were well acquainted with. Knowing that my father was here, and that his presence could mean trouble for all of us, our little group was staying close together in case any problems arose.

Storm I partially opened my eyes and noted that it was still dark inside the room, and there was no light showing in the gap between the curtains and the window. Storm I got dressed into a pair of yoga pants and a long-sleeved tee shirt before I pulled my hair up into a ponytail. Grabbing the pregnancy test, I went back out into the bedroom and crawled back into bed and lay on Doyle’s side of the bed. Storm Over the next couple of days Lilly, Julie and I were spending nearly all our free time together while Leah was trying to get to know her mate Mike. Although, if I was being honest, she tended to spend more time running away and hiding from him than she did trying to get to know him. And while I found her antics a little amusing, I had to admit that I was still on the fence about the guy. I knew that his possessiveness and his temper flare-ups unsettled Leah, and I honestly couldn’t say that I blamed her. If I were her, I would have been terrified out of my mind being fated to be with someone like that for the rest of my life. Seeing how Mike was acting at the moment, succeeded in making me appreciate how much care Doyle had taken when he had learned we were mates. Storm Two weeks later We had been back from Italy for two weeks when Leah had come down to breakfast one morning and made it evident to all of us, she had accepted Mike as her mate. They had completed the mating process, and she had proudly shown us her mark as she had sat down with us to have breakfast; I had noticed that while Mike had marked Leah; she hadn’t marked him in return. We all congratulated her on her decision, but despite Leah’s decision, Mike was still not on my list of favourite people. I had decided that he wouldn’t be endeared to me until he had proven himself to me and to the pack. I needed him to prove himself as a worthy mate to Leah and as a worthy member of this pack. Storm Five months later As my pregnancy has progressed, Doyle has made it a point to never be too far from my side. I don’t have long now until my baby is due. Although I am not as large as most humans are when they get closer to the end of their pregnancy. I still have a cute little baby bump. Doyle has made it a habit of placing his hands on my baby bump and talking to the baby every chance he gets. I find it adorable the way he always talks to the baby. Whenever he does it, he is always so careful and so gentle, and his gentleness only makes me love him more. Doyle and I have had many times where we have discussed names throughout the course of my pregnancy. However, we could never bring ourselves to settle on any of the names we had mentioned.
