Grayson Pov
Christmas is finally over and now it is time to start up my journey once again. The next country I'm off to is Russia.
In the past few months, I have realized that I love traveling. There are so many theories and stereotypes out there about different countries. I love debunking everyone of them. A few months ago I went online to find some of the stereotypes about the different counties, but Russia's stereotypes were the most interesting.
Like everyone is in the mafia or that all Russians drink vodka. That is just listing a few. It is like one extreme to the other. I cannot believe how far some people can go to judge people. In my eyes, everyone is exactly the same. I mean some people see all Americans as beer-drinking hillbillies. I mean how ridiculous is that.
We touched down in Moscow. Moscow is the largest city in Russia. With almost 12.3 million people there is a much bigger chance to meet my mate here. There is only one problem. Whe
Grayson PovI woke up this morning freezing my ass off. The fire in the mantel died somewhere during the night. For a place that likes keeping up with the trends, I would kind of expected it to have some sort of heater.I get up and took a shower once again. I feel the hot water running over my body. My limbs are slowly relaxing and warming up.I went to search inside my suitcase. I don't have that many warm clothes. I need to go to the shops to buy some more.I made my way down. I called a cab a few minutes ago so it should be here at any moment. Dmitri is up and is busy cleaning the road of all the snow."You are up early. Don't you need some rest? I know jetlag can be horrible." Dmitri said smiling."I need to go shopping. I couldn't sleep anymore since the fire went out in the mantel so I was freezing.""There is a heater in your room you know. Did I forget to show it to you last night? I am so sorry about that. I will
Grayson PovAnother day, in this cold city. I searched for places with live music but couldn't find any online. I even asked Dmitri, but he said the only place he knows is the black and blue pub.I searched for it online, but the pub only has male rock singers. I haven't realized how hard it was going to be to find my mate.I decided that I was going to lay in bed all day, just playing some online games. My phone ringed and I see that it is my father."What's up, dad?""Grayson, your up. Thank goodness. We need you to go to South-Africa right away.""Why, what is the matter?""The fang hunters have launched a full-blown war there. They are killing off all humans and supernaturals that go against them. They want Courtney Hill, but nobody knows where she is. They even told the president that until Courtney was found they will keep up killing. The king of the werewolves, vampires, and the fairy queen has already sent out all their
Grayson PovWe have been stuck in south-Africa for a week now. I am trying to get a meeting with the leaders of the fang hunters with no luck so far.I honestly don't know what I am going to do. Each and every day innocent people are losing their lives. For once in my life, I don't know how to resolve this issue. I tried contacting Courtney and Robbie, but I know it will be of no use.On the one hand, I hope that they made it out of this, and on the I am wondering if 2 people's lives are worth the thousands that have already died. There is a knock on my door. I stand up and open it. My mother is standing there on the other side looking frantic."She is here." My mother whispers while I look at her in confusion."Who is here?""Courtney.""Wait, how did she know where to find me?""I don't know, but she wants to speak to you. She said it is quite urgent."My mother and I start walking towards the reception area. I see
Grayson POVI finally made my way to Courtney and Robbie. My mother placed them in the room directly next to mine. I walk in and see Courtney on the bed sleeping. Robbie is on the chair in front of the computer. I look between the two of them and once again wish to have what they have. I walk closer and tap Robbie on the shoulder."Hey, Robbie can I speak to you?" I whisper to him."Sure." Robbie gets up and walks beside me to my room.I want as much privacy as I can for this conversation. I also don't want to speak in the room where Courtney is sleeping. I don't know when she is going to wake-up.We sat down on the couches in my room."How has everything been going since we last spoke? What happened?" I asked Robbie. I finally get a chance to look at him properly. He looks tired. There are dark circles under his eyes."The last time we spoke we just changed our identities. We thought that we were finally free. We were trying to get o
Grayson POVIt is only two days later that the fang hunters get back to me. They finally agreed to a sit-down meeting, but it has to be on even ground. Since we are in Capetown and they are in Johannesburg we decided to meet somewhere in the middle. They talked about a small town called Hanover. I actually had to look it up. I have never heard about that place. From what I can see it is a beautiful place. I just hope that they leave their weapons behind. I don't want any more killing than there already have been.I walk towards the kitchen. It is time for breakfast. The cooks made us some putu pap, bacon, and eggs. They also placed some rusk which is typically called Ouma beskuit. Since I landed in South-Africa I have had putu pap every morning. Usually, they eat it with milk, sugar, and butter. I came to love it with milk and sugar.I served myself and walked over to my mother and father. My father arrived yesterday in the late afternoon. I haven't had a
Grayson POVThe head of the fang hunters had sent me coordinates yesterday evening. I looked up the coordinates and it was a field in the middle of nowhere. It is basically an open field. The meeting has been set for 3 this afternoon so as of now, it is, go time. We are currently standing over a map of the field to see if there are any advantage points. There are no mountains or even trees in the vicinity."I think they chose this field for a reason." My father says looking at the map."I think so too. They didn't want to be blindsided. They wanted an open field so that they can see far and wide. They didn't want anyone sneaking up on them.""I agree." My father looks at his watch and then back at me. "Son, it is time for us to go."We packed everything up and made our way to the field. The fang hunters were already there waiting for us. They also brought some reinforcements. I knew they will not play by the rule. I look closer at them
Grayson POVI reached the hotel. There are dead bodies everywhere. I can still hear gunshots ringing on the inside.I run into the hotel. I need to find my mom. I know she will be able to tell me what happened.I take out shooters on my way up. I try to reach my mom on our pack bond. It feels like I am hitting a wall with my voice. There is no way I can reach my mom.I reach the top floor and see my mom laying on the floor. She passed out. This explains why I couldn't reach her. There are soldiers surrounding her. I look around the room and see Courtney and Robbie cowering in the corner of the room. Courtney is on the floor hugging her legs while Robbie is standing over her with a gun."Guys I need you to cover me. I need to speak to my angel." The soldiers nod their heads and I make my way to my mother's side. I sit down and retreat inside my head."Ansiel I need to speak to you."Ansiel wa
Grayson POVMy father and I made our way back into Hanover. There are almost 30 of us that made it there together using our supernatural powers. We made our way back to the guesthouse that we were staying in. The army and every other soldier that came to help us is waiting for us there."Thank you all for coming. I know none of us wanted this violence, but the fang hunters have started a full-blown war against us. I have jurisdiction over all of you now. If you don't believe me please ask your superiors. I know that my son Grayson was till now your superior, but I think he is still too young to be able to lead this group of people. This is why he asked me to come. He needed the help and I am here to provide that help. Now, this will be hard and I don't want anyone here that does not want to fight. Some of us will die. They have military-grade weapons with them. If you don't want to fight you can leave now." My father paused his speech. I look around and no one i
