For a lot of society in a Kingdom or a nations, most of the time the declarations from it’s ruler were often seen as a merely notes, or a suggestions. Why, because the public, the citizens that lived on that country doesn’t necessarily viewed the people that were in the positions in power as someone that were close to them, or belonged to them. Especially in these medieval era, and on top of that these medieval fantasy era, where it was almost like living in a hostile environment no matter where. It was considered normal, for those that were in power to misuse them, oppressed those that were under them or below them. And the current society accept that it was a normal behaviour.

Over the time, the act of being under oppression is rather became a normal thing.
