“ I can explain..”

“ I don’t want to hear it, Clay. You had the entire week. No…… the entire month to explain but said nothing. You humiliated me in front of the pack.” I shrieked in anger.

My eyes were burning with wrath. I wasn’t sure where I was heading. But I didn’t want to be around him. I was furious with him and that poor excuse of a woman.

“I didn’t say anything because there was nothing to tell,“ Clayton whispered and his footsteps got louder as if he was closer than I thought.

“ There was nothing to tell? Really now, Clayton?” I gave a dramatic laugh. “Your girlfriend was in the pack and you failed to notify me. Now you stand before me to tell me that was nothing important!“ I stopped in my tracks and turned toward the man I had grown to love so dearly.
