Chapter 109 - Celeste

The attack on Bella’s covendom didn’t go as planned. We didn’t get Citra, which is what Ihad hoped. They didn’t kill Bella or get any of the wolves. In fact, Bella was now protected for the rest of her life by her Thane’s sacrifice. Pffft. Idiot. Had he known what was coming.

But the Riding Hoods had lost two more of their witches. Reinforcements were on their way from Europe, but it was a tricky process to get them in, especially since witches now knew to look for them. They would be looking for magic spikes and signs of spell casting along the regular routes. Seems that even some of the Crone’s followers were upset that the Riding Hoods were here and causing havoc.

No matter. Once I had what I needed, the Riding Hoods could do whatever they wanted with the wolves. And with my sister. I don’t care as long as I can keep my powers and my coven. I might even help them to exterminate the wolves.
