Liam's POV

After the ruckus in the restaurant, I had planned to wait for the Cassandra lady to finish talking to her boss and then call her over to talk. However, as I waited, I got a call from my office telling me that some investors would be visiting the following day so I decided to go to my office to prepare some things that would be useful during the meeting.

Since Cassandra wasn't available to talk to yet, I walked out of the restaurant after the call heading to the place where I had told my driver we would be meeting up.

Maintaining my reputation as the faceless CEO of Wicker corporation required me to make multiple sacrifices such as a walk and being without my driver at almost every point in time.
