Jason's POV

I watched in shock as Cassandra walked out of my sight with the three boys in tow. Those children... They were definitely mine. I had made a huge mistake in concluding that she was lying years ago when she told me that she was pregnant for me.

But I had just been believing the person I knew over a random stranger, it wasn't my fault.

'Except that the person you were believing was Ana?' my mind asked me and I groaned.

Ana and I... We had gotten a divorce about a year ago after a two year-old marriage. The reason for that was very simple: Ana didn't give a hoot about me. I don't know how I never saw it while we were dating but once we got married, it became plain.

Ana never cared about my well-being or how I felt once we were married. She slowly stopped showing me the love and affection that she used to until she was extremely cold towards me.
