That night Jace pretended to be leaving the restaurant building for urgent business, but actually, he was picking up someone at the back door. Someone who had just changed into a t-shirt with a jacket and jeans threw the waiter uniform into the trash can. He poured gasoline and threw the lit lighter into the trash can.
