Tania's POV - The Luna's Mistake

"Apparently you're here, even though I've been looking for you all over the pack."

My mother in law looked unhappy. It was true, before we got here, Magnus' mother and I had heard their jokes from afar. Maybe that's what upset her.

"Mother, we were just talking about business at the refugee shelter," Magnus said, looking guilty.

"Oh yeah? Are you saying that your joke was an important conversation?" my mother-in-law asked fiercely.

I stood at a distance, observing the tense exchange between Magnus' mother and her Alpha family.

"Honey, don't keep nagging, your beautiful face will be filled with wrinkles," my father-in-law said as if to calm his wife down.

"Oh, so you're saying I'm old and wrinkly? Who do you think makes me think too much if not you and your son!" Magnus' mother scolded with a sharp glare.

"Ah, Father... Where did you find a wife so wise and thoughtful about our pack?" Magnus chimed in.
