Annoyed with the mention of Davis name

Davis frowned and called the waiter over to their side. "How much is the bill?" He asked.

The waitress told him that price and he paid up the faced Agnes who was looking at him with a smile.

"We are leaving, I'll meet you in the car" he stood up and left.

Agnes wiped her mouth with a tissue before standing up and following him with a smile on her face.

She helped herself with the door as she knew Davis wouldn't bother helping her. Davis drove her straight to her house, he didn't bother replying to "Good night and safe journey" wishes when he drove off.

Agnes had a smile on her face, all what he's doing was making her more attracted to him but she suddenly remembered him talking about having an ex wife and kids before getting married to him and she decided to check them out.
