Chapter 65: Destruction

Lizo and Devon followed. And Gunner already knew that he’d be fighting with me. I saw no fright or alarmed gesture from him. He was more than willing to fight with me because of what I did to Linda and what I said.

As expected, Lizo did not fail me and fought flawlessly. Devon may be experienced enough but he was usually driven by anger and a desire to win. He has always been rough.

“Done,” I said after Lizo scratched his arm.

I stood up and Gunner was already waiting for me.

“Do you want me to shift?” I asked him.

“Any form will do.” He said and shifted. I shifted and jumped away when he suddenly attacked. I used my forehead to push him back and it was my turn to attack. I tried to bite his leg, but he used his other foot to claw my head, so I turned to avoid it.

‘Does it hurt your ego?’ I asked him and he jumped to me.
