Chapter 50: Silver Bullet

When my consciousness had returned, I felt a soft surface against my back and a cold wind blew through my face so I opened my eyes. I found myself lying on a bed, and chained to it. I found Dion sitting near me while looking at the ground.

"Your son needs me, I bet." Why would they help me recover when they want me dead? The answer was too clear.

"Don't make me cut your tongue."

"Don't warn me, I might not undo the curse."

"You better follow what I want you to do unless you want your mate to die before my son." I snapped my finger and he shrank like a three-year-old baby.

"You better fix your attitude when you are talking to a witch." They helped me regain my strength to be able to undo the curse.

"You little brat!" He walked to me and pulled the tube connecting to the needle which was stuck in my hand. He injected something into it and my sight went blurry. The disgusting scent of wolfsbane fills my nostrils.

"When will you ever play fair, Dion?
