JITTERY

Jake was quiet for a minute after Freya mentioned him keeping secrets. Probably, he was equally having thought about Freya's numerous secrets which he had been patient with. None of them was a saint on this matter. They both had a hidden skeleton.

They were stuck in midday traffic on Ring-Road Avenue.

Freya kept her face glued to the window, watching the different tall buildings and individuals going about their daily business pass by as she sat, lost in her thoughts.

She couldn't figure out whether it was good luck or bad that Dante had reappeared shortly before her engagement. It was making her uneasy. For Dante to step out of his comfort zone and meet her in Oklahoma couldn't be a coincidence. He hated to be away from where he was in charge. So, why here?

if I was her, I wouldn't want to save that pack. let the omegas go extinct. if they aren't appreciated, by higher wolves, then screw it. the wolves don't get anymore omegas
