The entire next week I couldn't stop thinking about Sebastian.
We had thankfully gotten rid of Samantha and Francesca's presence, but it didn't help to tame my anger and sadness. Jamie, of course, was a great way to release my tension. Her, my father, Bruce and I went on a long drive through the Scottish landscape most of the next week, making pit stops along the way. We then went to one beach and walked on the shores the day before we were set to leave. It was a very therapeutic experience, and seeing Jamie and my father so close felt right for me.
The day that we were set to leave, we said our good byes to everyone. Saying goodbye to Jamie was the hardest. She gave a bag of dark chocolate shortbread for the plane ride.
