Evie's jaw dropped. No! There's no way that her and Richard are going to be neighbors! And that house is her best friend's house!
"No way! I know whose house that is!" she yells at him.
"You do? It's my brother in law's house. Said I could use it for how long I'd like."
"You are Aron's brother in law?"
"Yeah, he's my twin sister's husband."
And her eyes just widened. That's why she felt like his face is familiar. The photo of Aron's fiancee. Richard just looks like the boy version of that girl! Why? She was having a good day with him!
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah. But I need to go inside now." Without looking back she made her way towards her front door. She typed in her passcode and when she was about to turn the doorknob she remembers how Richard has been patient with her today. She looks back and saw him still waiting for her to open the door. "Welcome to the neighborhood and I had fun today."
