Tycelyn's POV

"Mason Mosiah!" Chloe clutched her chest with her and I ran to support her.

"Don't you raise your voice at Mother again," Camilla warned calmly.

"Step, stepmother not mother," Mason corrected, "You promise something in return for your son's punishment, I hope you are willing to fulfill your promise or have you changed your mind?"

"Chloe what did you promise?" Kenzal's Grandma asked with seriousness. From the look of things Chloe knew what was going on but the others didn't.

"I did what a mother would do to protect her child," Chloe stood tall facing Mason, "He had evidence to prove Kenzal murdered Zion and attempted to kill him."

"You said there was nothing to prove it," Mr Mosiah glared at Chloe.

"Mason wanted me to buy his silence and I did as a desperate mother," Chloe defended herself.
