Chapter 20: Reginald had a more physical desire for her

She knew it was very important to butter up people. Everyone enjoyed it, not excepting Reginald.

Reginald gave a meaningful chuckle in a low voice, and Heloise was not sure whether he believed it or not. The pistol whirled handsomely around his fingertips, and he retrieved it from her forehead, and tossed it to Ben.

"Let’s go to Hyacinth Garden."

Finally, he had left.

Heloise lifted the peaked cap on her head and glanced toward Reginald's back.

The light of the night market was colorful and chaotic, illuminating Reginald's tall back shadow, with the illusion of a hellish demon reappearing on earth.

Heloise's legs suddenly got a little weak.
