065 - A Beta's Fate, An Alpha's Destiny

The moment my phone rang, I immediately answered it, but Celeste was not on the line. Instead, I heard her conversation with Darvin, and the tears just kept flowing again as sobs wracked my whole body.

Dominic shook me lightly and told me to focus, and I knew he was right. Darvin needed our full attention.

I set aside my own emotions and shifted into my wolf, together with Dominic and Glenn. We wasted no time and sprang forward in the direction they went. Daniel, Lizzie, and Shirley, on the other hand, took a car so they could take a first-aid kit and to make sure we have a car available if we need to transport Darvin.

All the time that we were running, I kept sending a prayer to the Goddess to let us make it on time. I was worried that we would be too late.

Dominic told me before we ran that he would not wait for me this time. that he would run as fast as he could, and I couldn’t agree more. Someone needed to reach them right away. But I was so proud of how Amethyst was
