Chapter 123: Where is he?

“Where are you going?” asked Simon.

“I need to go take care of something. Stay here and watch her,” commanded Eric.

“Yes, Prince Eric.” Simon looked at the door of the operating room. He’s praying that Ruby recovers soon he will have to deal with the wrath of Prince Eric for a very long time.

Ruby woke up the next week. She was struggling to get up as the pain was overwhelming. After a while, she summons up enough strength to get some water. She drinked it and it feels refreshing as it was cold and icy. She looked around and found that she was in their room.

An elderly maid came in and said, “Oh. You’re up.”

Ruby nodded.

“You should have called I would have come in right away."

“It’s fine," said Ruby. Her voice was coarse. “How long have I been out?”

“One week.”

“What?” asked Ruby in shock.

“Yes.”

Ruby looked around and saw that nothing in the room had changed. Everything was exactly the same as it was the last time she was there.

“Here, I brought you some food.”
