Chapter 164: William's Plan

IN THE PALACE

“What do you think?” asked William.

“Huh?” said Eric who was still lost in his thinking.

“Hmmm?” replied William.

“Yeah. Sure, we’ll go with whatever you said,” replied Eric who was looking away from his gaze.

William was a much older gentleman. He have white hair and brown eyes. Even though he is the same age as his grandfather, Eric haven't noticed him aging for the longest time.

Noticing Eric being uneasy, he walked over to him. Looking at him he said, “How is it going along with Ruby?”

“What?”

“You know.”

“No. No I don’t.” Eric was becoming annoyed that everyone was trying to get into his business.

“So, it’s not going well?” asked William, who was coming closer to Eric.

“Well-”

“I’m assuming not.”

“Well-Well you stop asking me.”

“Eric! I am serious. Have you two not been moving things along?” William had a serious face on him.

“I-I thought we were,” stutter Eric. He brushed his hair with his fingers with frustration.

“And why is it not now?”

“I don’t know,”
