Chapter 55: Why didn't you come?

Frustrated Eric pulled her behind him and found an open room at the end of the hallway. It was empty, and inside he saw a bed. Seems to be a guest room that no one used. He shoved her inside and shut the door. Eric locked the door behind him.

Ruby stared at him with disbelief as he locked the door.

“Are you mad?” she asked.

“Does it look like I’m mad,” said Eric who was unbuttoning his shirt.

Startled Ruby backed away until her body hit a desk.

Eric came close to her.

“What did you do to my magic and powers?”

“Nothing.”

“Seriously.”

“Your magic and power is fine.”

Ruby reached out her right hand and tried to summon her wind power, but nothing happened.

Eric chuckled.

“Good thing the bracelet does its job.”

“What?” asked Ruby. She was looking at the bracelet. Ruby thought this enchantment is strange as it stops her from using her abilities. Irritated that Eric put it on her she attempted to take it off.
