Chapter 81: We need to talk.

Eric’s eyes was full of anger and contempt.

Ruby wasn’t sure why he was mad at her, when it should be her who is mad at him. He was the one who falsely accused her and even tried to break her limbs.

Annoyed Ruby walked past him.

“We need to talk,” said Eric. His face remains emotionless and his voice stern.

Ruby kept walking as she didn’t care to talk with him.

Eric grabbed her, but she pulled away from him.

Ruby saw a hint of hurt in his face. She smiled inwardly. She was happy that Eric was in pain. His face was priceless. She wanted him to regret and that is exactly what he’s showing her right now. He was finally feeling the agony of being used and thrown away. She wants him to live in sorrow for the rest of his life, a body without a soul.

"Please," said Eric.

Ruby didn’t respond. She just looked at him with annoyance. She attempted to take a step past him, but he stepped in front of her. She pushed him, but Eric shook his head at her. No matter what she did, he kept blocking her.
